Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe talking stick yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi operasi hitung matriks di kelas X SMK Justitia Palu. Rancangan penelitian ini mengacu pada desain penelitian Kemmis dan Mc.Taggart meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe talking stick yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi operasi hitung matriks di kelas X SMK Justitia Palu dengan menerapkan fase-fase: 1) menyampaikan tujuan dan mempersiapkan siswa, 2) menyajikan informasi, 3) mengorganisir siswa ke dalam kelompok belajar, 4) membantu kerja tim dan belajar, 5) mengevaluasi dan 6) memberikan pengakuan atau penghargaan. Kata kunci: Talking stick, hasil belajar, operasi hitung matriks Abstract: This research aimed to describe the application of cooperative learning model type talking stick to improve student learning outcomes on matrix operations at grade X SMK Justitia Palu. The design of this research referred to Kemmis and Mc. Taggart that were planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The result of this research showed that the application of talking stick model can improve student learning outcomes through the phases: 1) present goal and set, 2) present information, 3) organize student into learning teams, 4) assit team work and study, 5) test on material and 6) provide recognition.
