Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mendapatkan bukti empiris kemampuan insentif  serta pendidikan dan pelatihan dalam meningkatkan kinerja, baik secara langsung maupun melalui mediasi semangat kerja. Pendekatan kuantitatif Partial Least Square (PLS) digunakan untuk menganalisis data 92 Anggota Satuan Perlindungan Masyarakat Dinas Satpol PP Kota Pasuruan, yang diambil menurut formula Slovin. Temuan empiris yang diperoleh bahwa insentif  yang semakin meningkat mampu mendorong peningkatan kinerja, baik secara langsung maupun melalui mediasi semangat kerja. Begitu juga dengan, peningkatan pendidikan dan pelatihan juga mampu mendorong peningkatan kinerja, baik secara langsung maupun melalui mediasi semangat kerja. Temuan ini sekaligus menjelaskan kuatnya peranan semangat kerja sebagai mediasi. Hasil ini didukung oleh statistik deskriptif insentif, pendidikan dan pelatihan, semangat kerja, serta kinerja yang semuanya memiliki nilai rata-rata tinggi. Kata Kunci: insentif, pendidikan dan pelatihan, semangat kerja, kinerja, Satpol PP.   Abstract: The aim of this research is to obtain empirical evidence of the ability of incentives as well as education and training to improve performance, either directly or through mediating morale. The quantitative approach of Partial Least Square (PLS) was used to analyze the data of 92 members of the Public Protection Unit of the Satpol PP Service of Pasuruan City, which were taken according to the Slovin formula. The empirical findings obtained are that the increasing incentives are able to encourage increased performance, both directly and through the mediation of morale. Likewise, increased education and training are also able to encourage increased performance, both directly and through mediation of work spirit. This finding also explains the strong role of morale as mediation. These results are supported by descriptive statistics of incentives, education and training, morale, and performance, all of which have high average scores.  KeyWords: incentives, education and training, morale, performance, Satpol PP.
