Abstract

The spatial distribution of Bactrocera dorsalis complex in the mango orchard that was analyzed using various mathematical indices dispersion and regression models showed an aggregated distribution. Taylor’s power law and Iwao’s regression model fitted well to all data sets. However, Iwao’s regression model fitted the data better, yielding higher values of R2 than Taylor’s power law. As the regression of the reciprocal of k of negative binomial (1/k) on x [k = ( x2 – s2/n) / (s2 – x )] was not significant, the calculation of a common k was justified to be 1.30. This implies that the grade of aggregation of the fruit flies population was relatively constant throughout the time despite the variation in sample means. Since the clump size (λ) value was more than 2, the aggregated distribution might be due to the behavior and environmental factors working together.Keywords: Bactrocera dorsalis complex, spatial, distribution, trapping, mango

Abstract

The role of forecasting was very important for a company to run their business economy, especially to planning their production. The forecasting method used was expected to assist companies in determining the level of production in accordance with consumer demand in the future. The aim of this research was to know the sales forecasting of Ardila Bakery in Muara Bulian and to choose the correct forecasting method for sales forecasting in the future so it can become a reference to make a marketing startegy planning of Ardila Bakery in Muara Bulian. Methods used were Single Moving Averages, Exponential Smoothing, Weighted Moving Avareges, Exponential Trends and Exponential Trends and data used was sales data from June 2015 to May 2016. Based on the results of data collection then the sales data pattern of Ardila Bakery using 4 months Single Moving Averages Method with sales forecast was 458, MAD was 24.06 and MSE was 1,107.81. Six months Single Moving Averages Method with sales forecast was 462, MAD was to 26,95 and MSE was 1,297,97. Exponential Smoothing Method with alpha 0.1 with sales forecast was 466, MAD was 25,99 and MSE was 1,328,05. Exponential Smoothing Method with alpha 0.2 with sales forecast was 457, MAD was 26,33 and MSE was 1,359,64. Exponential Smoothing Method with alpha 0.5 with Sales Forecast was 437, MAD was 30.94 and MSE was 1,560.03. Weighted Moving Averages Method with weighted 3 with sales forecast was 435, MAD was 33.52 and MSE was 1,797.87. The Projected Trend Method with Sales Forecast was 446, MAD was 23.21 and MSE was 1.048.25 and Exponential Trend Method with Sales Forecast was 444, MAD was 461.08 and MSE was 213,707.47. Appropriate and good methods to apply to Ardila Bakery in Muara Bulian for bread products in June 2015 to May 2016 was Trend Projection Method, because it has smaller error rate than 4 months single moving averages method, 6 months single moving average, exponential smoothing with alpha (α = 0.1, α = 0.2 and α = 0.5), weighted moving average and exponential trend.Keywords: Single Moving Average, Double Moving Average,  Single Exponential  Smoothing

Abstract

The development of financial position had a very important meaning for the company. The important factor to see development of the company was the financial element, because that can evaluate the capability of the company is correct or not. The purpose of this research was to know the development of the financial performance based on EVA approach and profitability ratio at Barokah Village Unit Cooperative in Karya Mukti Village, subdistrict Maro Sebo Ilir. The problem’s formulation from this research was how is the development of the financial performance based on EVA approach and profitability ratio at Barokah Village Unit Cooperative in Karya Mukti Village, subdistrict Maro Sebo Ilir. The type of data used in this research was primary and secondary data from Barokah Village Unit Cooperative in Karya Mukti Village, subdistrict Maro Sebo Ilir. The method of this research was descriptive quantitative method and using EVA and profitability ratio analysis. The result of the research based on EVA approach and profitability ratio was financial performance at Barokah Village Unit Cooperative based on NOPAT/SHU Income, Invested Capital, WACC, Capital Charges and EVA was good. Financial performance based on ROI was not too good and based on ROE was good. Financial performance based on EVA approach have a good average value, but must be kept in order to get a better value. Financial performance based on profitability ratio especially ROI was not good, so it must be improved in order to get a good value.

Abstract

ABSTRAK. Penggerek batang merupakan masalah utama pada budidaya mangga di wilayah rendah basah. Informasimengenai hama ini masih sangat sedikit, sehingga upaya untuk mendapatkan teknologi pengendalian agak sulitdilakukan. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengumpulkan data mengenai jenis penggerek, tingkat serangan OPT padabeberapa lokasi dan varietas mangga, serta eksplorasi untuk mendapatkan musuh alaminya. Penelitian dilakukandengan metode survai mulai Januari 2005 sampai dengan Desember 2006. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwahama penggerek yang menyerang tanaman mangga di Sumatera Barat dan Sumatera Utara adalah Rhytidodera integra(Coleoptera: Cerambycidae) (Kolbe 1886). Selain didominasi jenis hama tersebut, di Kebun Percobaan Balai PenelitianTanaman Buah Tropika juga ditemukan jenis lain, yaitu spesies Palimna annulata Oliver (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae).Perilaku kedua jenis hama tersebut sama, yaitu menyerang mangga mulai dari pucuk kemudian menuju ke bagianbatang utama. Hama penggerek batang menyerang hampir semua varietas yang ditemui dan ditemukan di semuadaerah yang disurvai. Tingkat serangan rerata hama penggerek batang di Sumatera Barat 8,83% dan di Sumatera Utara10,36%. Varietas mangga yang terserang paling parah di Sumatera Barat adalah Cengkir (23,26%) dan di SumateraUtara adalah Podang (19,01%). Lima jenis agens pengendali biologi hama penggerek batang mangga ditemukanselama pelaksanaan survai. Hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai informasi awal untuk menyusun teknologipengendalian hama penggerek batang mangga.ABSTRACT. Muryati, M. Istianto, and Affandi. 2010. Some Bioecological Aspects of Mango Stem Borer.Stem borer is the most important pest on mango in the wet lowland area. The information about this pest was stillvery limited, therefore, it is difficult to arrange its control strategy. The research were intended to collect data on thespecies of stem borer from some locations, its damage severity on some mango varieties as well as its natural enemies.The study was conducted by survey method from January 2005 to December 2006. The research revealed that thestem borer found in some locations was dominated by Rhytidodera integra (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae) (Kolbe 1886).Besides this species, another Cerambycidae, i.e. Palimna annulata Oliver was also found at Aripan Research Stationof Indonesian Tropical Fruit Research Institute. Both species have a similar behavior. The stem borer attacked almostall varieties that were found in research locations. The damage severity of mango by stem borer was 8.83 and 10.36%in West Sumatera and in North Sumatera, respectively. The most severe damage of mango variety in West Sumaterawas Cengkir (23.26%), while in North Sumatera was Podang (19.01%). Five species of natural enemies were foundduring the study. Abstract

Abstrak:Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah gaya kepemimpinan transformasional yang semakin baik maupun budaya organisasi yang semakin kuat akan mampu meningkatkan kinerja organisasi melalui mediasi menguatnya motivasi. Data diperoleh melalui kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada 150 pegawai di Direktorat Keuangan dan Administrasi Umum  Rsj Dr. Radjiman Wediodiningrat Lawang. Setelah dilakukan Analisis Jalur, penelitian ini menemukan  gaya kepemimpinan transformasional yang semakin baik mampu meningkatkan kinerja organisasi melalui menguatnya motivasi. Begitu juga dengan semakin kuatnya budaya organisasi juga mampu meningkatkan kinerja organisasi melalu menguatnya motivasi.

Abstract

 ABSTRACT This study explains the effect of job characteristics and work discipline on employee performance mediated by job satisfaction. The population is all employees of the Public Library and Regional Archives of Malang City, both those with civil servant status and non-civil servant employees, totaling 63 people. The sampling method in this study used "total sampling", that is, using all members of the population. Inferential statistics are used in this study with the path analysis method.The results showed that: Job characteristics and discipline have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction; Job characteristics have a positive and significant effect on performance; Work discipline does not have a significant effect on employee performance; Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance; Job satisfaction is able to mediate the relationship between job characteristics, discipline, and performanceKeywords: Job characteristics, discipline, job satisfaction, employee performance. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini menjelaskan pengaruh karakteristik pekerjaan dan kedisiplinan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai dimediasi kepuasan kerja. Populasi adalah seluruh pegawai Dinas Perpustakaan Umum dan Arsip Daerah Kota Malang, baik yang berstatus PNS maupun pegawai yang berstatus non PNS yang berjumlah 63 orang. Metode penarikan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan “total sampling”, yakni menggunakan seluruh anggota populasi. Statistik inferensial digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan metode path analysis.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Karakteristik pekerjaan dan Kedisiplinan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja; Karakteristik pekerjaan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja; Kedisiplinan kerja tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai; Kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai; Kepuasan kerja mampu menjadi mediasi dari hubungan karakteristik pekerjaan, kedisiplinan, dan kinerjaKata Kunci: Karakteristik pekerjaan, kedisiplinan, kepuasan kerja, kinerja pegawai.

Abstract

Abstrak : Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dan membuktikan 1) pengaruh budaya organisasi terhadap komitmen organisasional, 2) gaya kepemimpinan terhadap komitmen Organisasional, 3) budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja, 4) gaya kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja, 5) komitmen organisasional terhadap kinerja, 6) budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja melalui komitmen organisasional, 7)  gaya kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja melalui komitmen organisasional Pegawai Dinas Perikanan Kota Pasuruan.  Metode penarikan sampel menggunakan total sampling atau sampel jenuh, dimana jumlah sampel sama dengan jumlah populasi yaitu berjumlah 33 responden. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner dengan skala likert 1-5. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial. Model penelitian menggunakan struktural equation model (SEM) dan perhitungannya menggunakan model PLS-SEM dengan bantuan softwaere SmartPLS versi 3.2. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Budaya organisasi dapat meningkatkan komitmen organisasional, 2) Gaya kepemimpinan kurang berperan terhadap komitmen organisasional, 3) Budaya organisasi dapat meningkatkan kinerja, 4) Gaya kepemimpinan dapat meningkatkan kinerja 5) Komitmen organisasional dapat meningkatkan kinerja, 6) Budaya organisasi dapat meningkatkan kinerja melalui komitmen organisasional, 7) Gaya kepemimpinan masih kurang berperan terhadap peningkatan kinerja melalui komitmen organisasional Pegawai Dinas Perikanan Kota Pasuruan.Kata kunci :   Budaya Organisasi, Gaya Kepemimpinan, Komitmen Organisasional,  Kinerja Pegawai Abstract : The purpose of this study was to analyze and prove 1) the influence of organizational culture on organizational commitment, 2) leadership style on organizational commitment, 3) organizational culture on performance, 4) leadership style on performance, 5) organizational commitment to performance, 6) organizational culture towards performance through organizational commitment, 7) leadership style towards performance through organizational commitment of the Pasuruan City Fisheries Service EmployeesThe sampling method uses total sampling or saturated samples, where the sample size is the same as the population, which is 33 respondents. The research instrument used a questionnaire with a Likert scale of 1-5. The analysis technique used is descriptive statistics and inferential statistical analysis. The research model uses a structural equation model (SEM) and the calculations use the PLS-SEM model with the help of SmartPLS version 3.2 software.The results showed that 1) organizational culture can increase organizational commitment, 2) leadership style does not play a role in organizational commitment, 3) organizational culture can improve performance, 4) leadership style can improve performance 5) organizational commitment can improve performance, 6) organizational culture can improve performance through organizational commitment, 7) Leadership style still does not play a role in improving performance through organizational commitment of the Pasuruan City Fisheries Service Employees.Keywords: Organizational Culture, Leadership Style, Organizational Commitment, Employee Performance

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to obtain empirical evidence of the ability of PSM (public service motivation) and transformational leadership in increasing organizational commitment, both directly and through mediating job satisfaction. The quantitative approach of Partial Least Square (PLS) was used to analyze the data of 80 employees of the Planning and Financial Subdivision in the Work Environment of the Pasuruan City Government. They were taken by the census.The empirical findings obtained showed that better public service motivation could increase job satisfaction. However, it was not able to increase organizational commitment. Meanwhile, strong transformational leadership was able to increase job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Job satisfaction could play a role as a strong mediator. These results were supported by descriptive statistics of public service motivation, transformational leadership, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment, all of which have high average scores. Keyword: Public Service Motivation, Transformational Leadership, Job Satisfaction, Organizational Commitment. ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mendapatkan bukti empiris kemampuan PSM (public service motivation) dan transformational leadership dalam meningkatkan komitmen organisasi, baik secara langsung maupun melalui mediasi kepuasan kerja. Sedangkan, transformational leadership yang semakin kuat mampu mendorong peningkatan kepuasan kerja maupun komitmen organisasi. Kepuasan kerja mampu berperan sebagai mediasi yang kuat. Hasil ini didukung oleh statistik deskriptif public service motivation, transformational leadership, kepuasan kerja, dan komitmen organisasi yang semuanya memiliki nilai rata-rata tinggi.Kata Kunci: Public Service Motivation, Transformational Leadership, Kepuasan Kerja, KomitmenOrganisasi.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mendapatkan bukti empiris kemampuan insentif  serta pendidikan dan pelatihan dalam meningkatkan kinerja, baik secara langsung maupun melalui mediasi semangat kerja. Pendekatan kuantitatif Partial Least Square (PLS) digunakan untuk menganalisis data 92 Anggota Satuan Perlindungan Masyarakat Dinas Satpol PP Kota Pasuruan, yang diambil menurut formula Slovin. Temuan empiris yang diperoleh bahwa insentif  yang semakin meningkat mampu mendorong peningkatan kinerja, baik secara langsung maupun melalui mediasi semangat kerja. Begitu juga dengan, peningkatan pendidikan dan pelatihan juga mampu mendorong peningkatan kinerja, baik secara langsung maupun melalui mediasi semangat kerja. Temuan ini sekaligus menjelaskan kuatnya peranan semangat kerja sebagai mediasi. Hasil ini didukung oleh statistik deskriptif insentif, pendidikan dan pelatihan, semangat kerja, serta kinerja yang semuanya memiliki nilai rata-rata tinggi. Kata Kunci: insentif, pendidikan dan pelatihan, semangat kerja, kinerja, Satpol PP.   Abstract: The aim of this research is to obtain empirical evidence of the ability of incentives as well as education and training to improve performance, either directly or through mediating morale. The quantitative approach of Partial Least Square (PLS) was used to analyze the data of 92 members of the Public Protection Unit of the Satpol PP Service of Pasuruan City, which were taken according to the Slovin formula. The empirical findings obtained are that the increasing incentives are able to encourage increased performance, both directly and through the mediation of morale. Likewise, increased education and training are also able to encourage increased performance, both directly and through mediation of work spirit. This finding also explains the strong role of morale as mediation. These results are supported by descriptive statistics of incentives, education and training, morale, and performance, all of which have high average scores.  KeyWords: incentives, education and training, morale, performance, Satpol PP.

Abstract

ABSTRACT  This research aims to obtain empirical evidence of the ability of the E-SKP Job Performance Assessment in increasing Organizational Commitment both directly and through intervening Job Satisfaction. This type of research was quantitative research, and the method used was SEM-PLS. The data were obtained through a questionnaire distributed to 53 instructors UPTPK Singosari, Wonojati, and Pasuruan.Empirical evidence obtained was the E-SKP Job Performance Assessment could increase Organizational Commitment, both directly and if through intervening Job Satisfaction. This empirical evidence was supported by descriptive statistics at very high average values. In addition, the weak item was in the instructors who are worried if they stopped working now on the Organizational Commitment variable. furthermore, the instructors felt that they did not obtain an appreciation for their work performance on the Job Satisfaction variable, and the instructor did not feel that the supporting activities helped their teaching ability on the E-SKP Instructor Job Performance Assessment variable. This research had made various efforts to reduce or eliminate the occurrence of "plagiarism", both data and others. Keywords: E-SKP Work Achievement Assessment, Job Satisfaction, Organizational Commitment, BLK. ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mendapatkan bukti empiris kemampuan Penilaian Prestasi Kerja E-SKP dalam meningkatkan Komitmen Organisasi baik secara langsung maupun melalui intervening Kepuasan Kerja. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian kuantitatif, dan metode yang digunakan adalah SEM-PLS. Data diperoleh melalui kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada 53 orang instruktur UPTPK Singosari, Wonojati, dan Pasuruan. Bukti empiris yang diperoleh adalah Penilaian Prestasi Kerja E-SKP mampu meningkatkan Komitmen Organisasi, baik secara langsung maupun apabila melalui intervening Kepuasan Kerja. Bukti empiris ini didukung oleh statistik deskriptif yang berada pada nilai rata-rata sangat tinggi. Selain itu, item yang lemah terdapat pada istruktruktur khawatir jika mereka berhenti bekerja sekarang pada variabel Komitmen Organisasi. Kemudian, instruktur merasa tidak mendapatkan penghargaan atas prestasi kerja mereka pada variabel Kepuasan Kerja, dan instruktur tidak merasakan bahwa kegiatan penunjang membantu kemampuan mengajar mereka pada variabel Penilaian Prestasi Kerja Instruktur E-SKP. Penelitian ini telah melakukan berbagai upaya untuk mengurangi atau menghilangkan terjadinya “plagiasi”, baik data maupun lainnya.Kata Kunci: Penilaian Prestasi Kerja E-SKP, Kepuasan Kerja, Komitmen Organisasi, BLK.
