The objectives of this study was to find out suitable learning approach in order to increase learning mathematics achievement. This study was an experimental, consists of a dependent variable, it is mathematics learning achievement and a independent variables, it is are learning approach. The treatment applied were thematic learning approach and subject approach. The result of study showed that; at the thematic learning approach is more effective in order to increase the mathematics learning achievement.Keywords: Learning approach, Mathematics learning achievement
