Abstract

AbstrakAdanya kebijakan Belajar Dari Rumah (BDR) menimbulkan kehawatiran yang dirasakan orang tua karena harus mendampingi anak belajar di rumah bersamaan dengan kesibukan yang dialami orang tua baik dalam pekerjaan rumah tangga maupun mencari nafkah. Artikel ini dibuat untuk mengetahui peran orang tua dalam pendidikan anak sekolah dasar di masa pandemi Covid-19, mengetahui kesulitan yang dihadapi orang tua, serta mengetahui cara mengatasi kesulitan-kesulitan tersebut. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode wawancara terstruktur dengan menyebarkan angket / kuesioner dan kajian pustaka. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tujuh dari sepuluh partisipan menyatakan tidak setuju dilakukannya BDR dan berharap pelaksanaan pembelajaran tetap dilakukan di sekolah dengan cara mengikuti protokol kesehatan dari pemerintah atau memberi panduan pendampingan Belajar Dari Rumah jika pembelajaran tetap dilakukan di rumah.AbstractThe existence of the Learning From Home policy (BDR) raises concerns felt by parents because they have to accompany children to study at home along with the busyness experienced by parents both in household chores and earning a living. This article was created to determine the role of parents in the education of primary school children during the Covid-19 pandemic, to find out the difficulties faced by parents, and to find out how to overcome these difficulties. The research was conducted using structured inteviews method by distributing questionnaires and literature review. The results of the study indicate that seven out of ten participants stated that they did not agree with BDR and hoped that the implementation of learning would continue to be carried out in schools by following the health protocols from the government or providing guidance for Learning From Home assistance if learning was still carried out at home.
