<![CDATA[Abstrak: Afiks me(N)-, dan -kan berfungsi untuk membentuk kata kerja atau verba. Proses pembentukan verba dapat direkonstruksikan dari kata berkelas nomina (N), adjektif (Adj.), dan adverbia (Adv.). Lebih lanjut, terdapat juga verba yang tidak mengalami perubahan kelas, meskipun telah melalui proses afiksasi. Kedua fenomena ini dipahami sebagai derivasional dan infleksional. Sistem penurunan dan perubahan status verba ini diaplikasikan pada Teks Debat Capres RI periode 2014 – 2019. Tujuan penelitian untuk mendeskripsikan sistem derivasi dan infleksi pada teks debat capres. Konsep derivasi dan infleksi terbentuk berdasarkan beberapa kriteria, seperti kelas atau status dan keberterimaan dalam klausa. Data penelitian hanya berfokus pada teks debat capres. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mencatat dokumen teks untuk pemolaan dan pemilahan data. Hasil penelitian pada teks debat capres menunjukkan terjadinya proses derivasi pada kelas N→V, A→V, dan Adv→V. Kemudian infleksi tidak mengubah kelas suatu verba, seperti: V→V. Namun, dalam pandangan yang berbeda, perubahan V→V bisa dianggap sebagai derivasi, dengan alasan dapat mengubah fitur semantik dalam klausa.Abstract: The affix me(N) – kan are used to derive verbs. The derived verbs can be constructed from nouns, adjectives, and adverbs. Moreover, there are also derived verbs which do not change the class, although it has undergone the process of affixation. These phenomena are known as derivation and inflection. Derivation system and status change of these verbs applied to the debate text of RI presidential candidates in the period of 2014 – 2019. This study aims to describe the derivation and inflection system in the candidates’ debate texts. The concept of derivation and inflection is formed based on several criteria, such as class or status and acceptance in the clause. The data analysis only focuses on the candidates debate texts. The data were collected by writing the text documents for patterning and sorting. The result of the research on the candidates’ debate texts is that a derivation process occurs in class N → V, A → V, and Adv → V. Moreover, inflection does not change the class of verb, V → V. However, in a different view, the change of V → V can be considered as derivation, with the basis that it can change the semantics and clause.]]>
