<![CDATA[Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perbandingan realitas sosial dalam novel Rindu dengan novel Bumi Manusia. Adapun teori yang digunakan adalah sosiologi sastra Marxis dengan pendekatan sastra bandingan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh berupa perbandingan realitas sosial dalam kedua novel dilakukan terhadap 4 bentuk realitas sosial sehingga peneliti menemukan 4 data realitas sosial berupa pembagian kelas-kelas sosial, 5 data berupa penindasan kelas atas terhadap kelas bawah, 3 data berupa perlawanan kelas bawah terhadap kelas atas, dan 4 data berupa pembelaan dan penyetaraan terhadap kelas bawah.Abstract: This research aims to describe the comparison of social reality in the novel Rindu with the novel Bumi Manusia. The theory used is the sociology of Marxist literature with a comparative literary approach. This research uses descriptive analysis method using a qualitative approach. This research results obtained Comparison of social reality in the two novels found as many as 4 social reality data in the forms of social classes division, 5 data in the form of upper classes oppression against the lower classes, 3 data in the form of lower classes resistance to the upper classes, 4 data in the form of defense and aquality against the lower classes.]]>
