<![CDATA[Abstract This study discusses the matching of foreign terms used in the world of modern beauty into Indonesian. This research aims to provide a recommendation for the equivalent of foreign beauty to be an Indonesian language as an effort in developing Indonesian. The data collection method used in this study is the listening method and the data collection technique is carried out using note-taking techniques. The data source in this research is in the form of modern beauty terms taken from various articles in the online media. The data analysis method used is the method of matching with orthographic sub-types, and the data analysis technique uses the decisive element sorting technique. The results of this study provide recommendations for several terms as an effort to develop the Indonesian term. The term is the use of the word concealer, eye shadow cleaner, lip gloss, lipstick cleaner, fan brush, and highlighter. Keywords: terms, beauty, modern, development, Indonesian]]>
