<![CDATA[This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of PKn through efforts to improve learning by applying SQ3R method in cooperative learning on the subject of Democracy PKn subjects.SQ3R learning method is a learning method that includes the steps survey, question, read, recite, and review that have a purpose for reading activities can be implemented as short as possible and with high absorption.This method is applied in cooperative learning where the method of cooperative learning is a common attitude or behavior in working or helping among others in a regular structure of group cooperation.This research is a class action research conducted in class VIII B SMP Swasta Nurul Huda Al'Aziziyyah.The study was designed in two cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, execution, observation and reflection.The results showed that by applying SQ3R method in the learning process PKn students learning outcomes have increased in each cycle.This can be seen from the increase of the average value of students from each cycle that is the average value of students in the pre-cycle stage of 53.75 with classical completeness 31.25%. The first cycle of 72.5 with classical completeness of 56.25%; In cycle II the average value increased to 84.37 with 93.75% classical completeness.While the percentage of student learning activities also increased from the initial 48% with enough category in cycle I, increased to 60% with good category in cycle II.]]>
