PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN BERBICARA MELALUI METODE TIME TOKENS

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah 1) untuk menggambarkan keterampilan guru dalam pembelajaran keterampilan berbicara dengan menerapkan Waktu Token , 2) ; menggambarkan aktivitas siswa dalam keterampilan berbicara dengan menerapkan Time Tokens dan 3) meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa dengan menerapkan Time Tokens. Penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas, yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan , tindakan, observasi , dan refleksi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN Gunungpati 03 Semarang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, catatan lapangan , tes lisan , dan dokumentasi Dari hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa: 1 ) keterampilan guru meningkat dari 76,25 % pada siklus I menjadi 91,25 % pada siklus II , 2 ) peningkatan aktivitas siswa , dari 59.03 % pada siklus I menjadi 77,5 % pada siklus II , 3 ) hasil evaluasi keterampilan berbicara siswa meningkat , dari 58,8 % pada siklus I menjadi 82,4 % pada siklus kedua . Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode Waktu Token dalam pembelajaran keterampilan berbicara dapat meningkatkan keterampilan guru , aktivitas siswa , dan keterampilan berbicara siswa dalam belajar keterampilan berbicara.The purpose of this study were 1) to describe the skills of teachers in learning speaking skills by applying Time Tokens, 2); describe the activities of students in the skills of speaking by applying Time Tokens and 3) improve students' speaking skills by applying Time Tokens. The study used a Classroom Action Research (CAR), which consists of two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research was conducted at SDN Gunungpati 03 Semarang. Data was collected by observation, field notes, oral tests, and documentation. From the results of the study concluded that: 1) the skills of teachers increased from 76.25% in the first cycle to 91.25% in the second cycle, 2) increase student activity, from 59.03% in the first cycle to 77.5% in cycle II, 3) the results of the evaluation of students' speaking skills increased, from 58.8% in the first cycle to 82.4% in the second cycle. Based on these results it can be concluded that the application of the method Time Tokens in learning speaking skills can improve the skills of teachers, student activities, and speaking skills of students in learning speaking skills.
