Penerapan Model Student Facilitator And Explaining Berbantuan Media Visual untuk Meningkatkan Kualitas Pembelajaran IPA

Abstract

Abstrak___________________________________________________________________Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran IPA kelas IIIA dengan menerapkan model Student Facilitator and Explaining berbantuan media visual. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari tiga siklus dengan setiap siklus satu kali pertemuan. Subyek penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa kelas IIIA SDN Karanganyar 02 Kota Semarang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik tes dan nontes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan dalam setiap variabel pengamatan pada setiap siklusnya. Keterampilan guru pada siklus I memperoleh skor 19 dengan kriteria baik, siklus II sebesar 23 dengan kriteria baik, dan siklus III sebesar 28 dengan kriteria sangat baik. Aktivitas siswa pada siklus I adalah 21,81 dengan kriteria baik, siklus II sebesar 23,48 dengan kriteria baik, dan siklus III sebesar 26 dengan kriteria sangat baik. Persentase ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa secara klasikal pada siklus I sebesar 61,90%, siklus II menjadi 76,19%, dan pada siklus III menjadi 90,48%. Simpulan penelitian ini yaitu dengan menerapkan model Student Facilitator and Explaining berbantuan media visual dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran IPA di kelas IIIA SDN Karanganyar 02 Kota Semarang.The purpose of the research was to improve the quality of science learning by applying the student facilitator and explaining model with visual media in class IIIA. The research was classroom action research consisted of three cycles, with each cycle consisted of one session. The subjects of the study were teacher and students in grade IIIA SDN Karanganyar 02, Semarang. Data collection techniques used tests and nontest. The results showed an increase in each variable of each cycle. Teacher skills in the first cycle scored 19 with good criteria. The second cycle was 23 with good criteria. The third cycle was 28 with very good criteria. Students of activities in the first cycle was 21.81 with good criteria. The second cycle was 23.48 with good criteria. The third cycle was 26 with very good criteria. Percentage of classical completeness in the first cycle was 61.90%. The second cycle of 76.19%. The third cycle was 90.48%. The conclusion of the study was student facilitator and explaining model with visual media improved the quality of science learning in class IIIA SDN Karanganyar 02, Semarang.
