PENINGKATAN KUALITAS PEMBELAJARAN IPS MELALUI MODEL TEAM ASSISTED INDIVIDUALIZATION BERBANTUAN MULTIMEDIA

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan penelitian untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran IPS melalui model Team Assisted Individualization berbantuan multimedia pada siswa kelas IVA. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian tindakan kelas dalam tiga siklus yang meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah guru dan siswa kelas IVA SDN Ngaliyan 01 Kota Semarang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan nontes. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) keterampilan guru siklus I mendapat skor 23 (baik), siklus II mendapat skor 29 (baik), siklus III meningkat menjadi 33 (sangat baik); 2) aktivitas siswa siklus I memperoleh rata-rata skor 24,3 (baik), siklus II rata-rata skor menjadi 27,8 (baik), siklus III meningkat menjadi 29,9 (sangat baik); 3) hasil belajar siswa siklus I mengalami ketuntasan klasikal 57,1%, siklus II menjadi 71,4%, siklus III meningkat menjadi 85,7%. Simpulan penelitian adalah model Team Assisted Individualization berbantuan multimedia dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran IPS.The purpose of this research is improving the quality of instructional social studies through team assisted individualization model assisted multimedia for fourth A grade. This research was designed using classroom action research in three cycles with four stages, namely: planning, implementing, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this research were teacher and fourth A grade of SDN Ngaliyan 01 Semarang city. The collecting data used test and non-test technique. The technique of analysis data used quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques. The result showed: 1) the teacher’s skill in the cycle I gained score 23 (good), 29 (good) in the cycle II, and cycle III increased be score 33 (very good); 2) the average score of student’s activity in the cycle I was 24,3 (good), 27,8 in the cycle II (good), and increased be 29,9 in cycle III (very good); 3) Then, the classical completeness was 57,1 %, 71,4% in cycle II, and cycle III increased be 85,7%. The Conclusion of this research is team assisted individualization model assisted multimedia can improved the quality of instructional social studies.
