PENINGKATAN KUALITAS PEMBELAJARAN IPS MELALUI MODEL COURSE REVIEW HORAY BERBANTUAN MEDIA VIDEO PEMBELAJARAN

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran IPS pada siswa kelas VA SDN Gisikdrono 03 Semarang melalui model Course Review Horay berbantuan video pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian tindakan kelas yang berlangsung dalam tiga siklus meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan nontes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) keterampilan guru pada siklus I memperoleh skor 24 (baik). Siklus II memperoleh skor 29 (sangat baik), meningkat pada siklus III memperoleh skor 34 (sangat baik); (2) aktivitas siswa pada siklus I skor 24,80( baik), pada siklus siklus II memperoleh skor 26,88( baik), meningkat menjadi 30,72 (sangat baik) ; (3) hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I mengalami ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 55,55% ( sedang), mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II menjadi 66,66% (tinggi), dan mengalami peningkatan di siklus III menjadi 86,11 % (sangat tinggi). Simpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah model Course Review Horay berbantuan video pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran IPS yang ditandai dengan meningkatnya keterampilan guru, aktivitas siswa dan hasil belajar. The research aimed to improve social studies instructional quality in grade VA SDN Gisikdrono 03 Semarang through course review horay assisted video. The research was designed using clasroom action research in three cycles includes the planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The data collection techniques were test and non test. The analized data using quantitative and qualitative. The results of the research showed that teacher skill in the first cycle scored 24 (good), in second cycle scored 27 (very good). It improved in the third cycle to 34 (very good). Students activity in the first cycle scored 24.80 (good), in second cycle scored 26.08 (good). It improved in the second cycle to 30,72(very good). Classical completeness of students learning outcome in the first cycle was 55.55 % (enough), in second cycle was 66.66 % (high). It improved in the third cycle to 86.11 % (very high). The conclusion of the research was course review horay model assisted instructional video can improved the quality of social studies instructional signed by improving of teacher skill, students activity, and students learning outcome.
