PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN MENULIS NARASI MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN WHOLELANGUAGE DENGAN AUDIOVISUAL

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis narasi melalui model pembelajaran whole language dengan audiovisual pada kelas V SDN Sekaran 02 Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari tiga siklus, meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah teknik tes dan nontes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatifdan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) keterampilan menulis di siklus siklus Isebanyak 30,15%(cukup), siklusII sebesar 46,43% (baik), dansiklusIIIsebesar85,71% (sangat baik). (2) keterampilan guru di siklus I adalah 21 (cukup), siklus II 26 (baik) dan siklus III sebesar 34 (sangat baik), (3) aktivitas siswa di siklus I adalah 19,92 (cukup), siklus II sebesar 24,75 (baik) dan siklus III sebesar 29,61 (sangat baik). Simpulan penelitian ini adalah melalui model whole language dengan audiovisual dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis, keterampilan guru, dan aktivitas siswa. The purpose of this research was to improve the writing skill in making narrative text through whole language learning with audiovisual at the fifth grade of SDN Sekaran 02 Semarang. This action research consisted of three cycles. Each cycle includes planning, implementing, observingand reflecting. Data collection techniques used were test and nontest. The data were analyzed by qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that: (1) the students writing skill in cycle I got 30.15% (fair), in cycle II obtained 46.43% (good) and in cycle III got 85.71% (very good). (2) the teacher skill in cycle I got 21 (fair), in cycle II obtained 26 (good) and in cycle III obtained 34 (very good). (3) The students’behavior in cycle Iobtained average score of 19.92 (fair), in cycle II got 24.75 (good) and in cycle III obtained 29.61 (very good). The conclusion of this research is that whole language learning with audiovisual media can improvethe students’ writing skill, teacher skill and students’ behavior.
