Penerapan Model Pembelajaran STAD Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Geografi

Abstract: This research is a classroom action research with the research subjects of the XI grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Siborongborong, totaling 29 people. The objects in this study are student learning outcomes and student activity levels during the implementation of learning by applying STAD (Student Team achievement divisions) type cooperative learning on the atmosphere material and its impact on life in class X SMA Negeri 1 Siborongborong. The instrument used was a test. The test consists of a pre-test and a post-test, each of which consists of 5 items. The first cycle found that 26 students (72.22%) were in a complete category. The first cycle obtained an average student learning outcome of 73.81, and the results of observations in the first cycle obtained an average of 3.00 in the good category. In the second cycle, it was obtained that 33 students (91.67%) were in a complete category. The second cycle obtained an average student learning outcomes of 79.92, and the results of observations in the second cycle obtained an average of 3.50 in the Good category. From the results of the action that the application of the STAD learning model can improve learning outcomes Geography in Atmospheric Materials and its impact on life in class X SMA Negeri 1 Siborongborong in the 2019/2020 academic year Keywords: atmosphere; STAD  Abstrak: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas, dengan subjek penelitian  siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Siborongborong yang berjumlah 29 orang. Objek dalam penelitian ini  adalah hasil belajar siswa dan kadar aktivitas siswa selama pelaksanaan pembelajaraan melalui penerapan pembelajaran  kooperatif tipe STAD (Student Team  achievement divisions) pada materi Atmosfer dan dampaknya terhadap kehidupan di kelas X  SMA Negeri 1 Siborongborong. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes. Tes terdiri atas tes awal dan tes akhir (posttest), yang masing-masing berjumlah 5 butir soal. Pada siklus I diperoleh 26 siswa (72,22%)  telah berada pada  pada kategori tuntas. Pada siklus I diperoleh rata-rata hasil belajar siswa sebesar 73,81 dan hasil observasi pada siklus I diperoleh rata-rata sebesar 3,00 berada pada kategori cukup. Pada siklus II diperoleh 33 siswa (91,67%) telah berada pada  pada kategori tuntas. Pada siklus II diperoleh rata-rata hasil belajar siswa sebesar 79,92 dan hasil observasi pada siklus II diperoleh rata-rata sebesar 3,50 berada pada kategori Baik. Dari hasil tindakan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran STAD dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar Geografi Pada Materi Atmosfer dan dampaknya terhadap kehidupan di kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Siborongborong tahun pelajaran 2019/2020. Kata kunci: atmosfir; STAD
