<![CDATA[This study aims to describe the appropriateness of the content in the Sahabatku Indonesia textbook for BIPA level 1 students published by the Language and Book Development Agency of the Ministry of Education and Culture in 2019. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with the data source of the Sahabatku Indonesia textbook for BIPA students. level 1. The data of this research are in the form of material in the Sahabatku Indonesia textbook for BIPA level 1 students. Data analysis techniques include several stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results showed that the Sahabatku Indonesia textbook for BIPA level 1 students was suitable for use in the BIPA level 1 learning process, although there were several units that needed to be refined, namely the aspects of accuracy in concepts and theory, and accuracy in training.]]>
