The number of bullying cases experienced by students of SMPN 8 Kota Palangka Raya, has made all parties concerned. The guidance and counselling teacher is the party most concerned with this incident. To address this problem, guidance and counselling teachers apply crisis counselling in order to reduce or suppress the traumatic level felt by students who experience bullying. This study aims to determine the role of crisis counselling in reducing the level of trauma experienced by bullying victim students. The method used in this research is qualitative. This approach was chosen because it wanted to get clear answers based on the understanding of the researcher based on the understanding of the informants, in this case the school principal, counselling teachers, subject teachers, students who experienced bullying violence, and the perpetrators of bullying. The results of the data analysis concluded that crisis counselling was able to suppress trauma in students who were victims of bullying. This is because the competence of guidance and counselling teachers in implementing crisis counselling already has a lot of experience, and can act wisely, objectively, and in accordance with existing theories.
