This study aims to see if the Management Information system on Premiums and Revenue Recognition has been done well,and in accordance with the generally applicable management principles in Indonesia. This research was conducted at PT.Sinarmas Medan Insurance. Information is required by parties outside the company or within the company. Information is afact, data, observation, or something else, which adds knowledge. Therefore, an adequate information system is required bythe company's management. Management information system aims to provide information, improve information, improvemanagement control and reduce management costs in the implementation of management records. The authors' researchuses primary data types, obtained directly from companies in the form of interviews and observations. Furthermore, theauthors also use secondary data types obtained from research objects and in the form of processed, among others, anoverview of the company's organizational structure and other data related to research. The results showed that themanagement information system has not been implemented in accordance with the generally applicable principles inIndonesia. One of them is by making a deposit of income to the bank every day. However, at PT. Sinarmas Insurance hasnot made a daily income deposit to the bank.
