<![CDATA[Abstrak - Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengentahui faktor-faktor apa penyebab dari harga daging sapi lokal lebih tinggi dibandingkan harga daging sapi impor serta solusi untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut. Dalam penelitian ini diteliti mengenai rantai pasokan daging sapi serta pelakunya, identifikasi jenis pasar dari setiap segmen dalam rantai pasokan daging sapi, pengaruh daging sapi impor terhadap daging sapi lokal, dan masalah efisiensi peternak sapi di Indonesia. Hasil dari penelitian ini menemukan bahwa masalah ketidak seimbangan antara permintaan dan penawaran menjadi masalah utama dari harga daging sapi lokal yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan harga daging sapi impor. Keberadaan daging sapi impor tidak terlalu berperngaruh terhadap penurunan harga daging sapi lokal. Efisiensi menjadi salah satu faktor kunci penyebab produksi peternak indonesia belum maksimal dan menyebabkan kenaikan harga daging sapi. Kata Kunci : Rantai Pasokan Daging Sapi, Jenis Pasar, Daging Sapi Impor, Daging Sapi Lokal , Efisiensi Abstract - This research is intended to know what factors cause of local beef price is higher than import price of imported beef and solution to solve the problem. In this research has been research about the beef supply chain as well as the perpetrators, the identification of the market type of each segment in the beef supply chain, the effect of imported beef, on local beef, and the efficiency issue of cattle ranchers in Indonesia. The results of this research had founded that the problem of imbalance between demand and supply became the main problem of higher local beef prices than imported beef price. The presence of imported beef has little impact on the decline in local beef prices. Efficiency to be one of the key factors causing the production of Indonesian breeder has not been maximal and caused the increase of beef price.
