Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode Outdoor Study terhadap motivasi belajar sejarah siswa kelas X IIS di MA DDI Cambalagi Maros. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen kuantitatif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Eksperimental dengan desain penelitian yaitu Nonequivalet Control Group. Terdiri dari kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah skala motivasi berupa angket untuk mengukur motivasi belajar sejarah siswa. Teknik analisis data digunakan yaitu analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial yaitu uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji hipotesis (uji statistik non parametrik/ Uji Mann-Whitney). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan melakukan pretest dan posttest yang diberikan kepada siswa berupa angket motivasi belajar diperoleh motivasi belajar sejarah siswa yang diajar dengan metode Outdoor Study (kelas eksperimen X IIS 2) lebih tinggi (47%) daripada hasil motivasi belajar sejarah siswa yang tidak diajar degan metode Outdoor Study/konvensional (kelas kontrol X IIS 1) (13%). Pengujian hipotesis motivasi belajar menghasilkan Zhitung= 3,04 pada taraf signifikan, α = 0.05 diperoleh Ztabel= 1,64. (3,04 > 1,64), Zhitung>Ztabel, maka H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak. Dapat dikatakan metode pembelajaran Outdoor Study berpengaruh positif terhadap motivasi belajar sejarah siswa.Kata Kunci: Outdoor Study, Motivasi Belajar, Sejarah.AbstractThis study aims to determine the effect of the Outdoor Study method on history learning motivation of class X IIS students at MA DDI Cambalagi Maros. Based on the results of the study showed that by conducting a pretest and posttest given to students in the form of a learning motivation questionnaire, it was found that students 'history of learning motivation taught by the Outdoor Study method (experimental class X IIS 2) was higher (47%) than the results of students' history of learning motivation who did not. taught by the method of Outdoor Study / conventional (control class X IIS 1) (13%). Testing the learning motivation hypothesis resulted in Zcount = 3.04 at the significant level, α = 0.05 obtained Ztable = 1.64. (3.04> 1.64), Zcount> Ztable, then H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected.
