<![CDATA[AbstractIncreasing production based on a good analysis is absolutely necessary for a company that wish to increase revenue while at the same time strengthening their position in this competition era. As one of the largest palm oil processing companies in Indonesia, Sinar Mas Group has a plan to develop the production facility in Tarjun Village, South Kalimantan beside of new land for palm plantations in order to increase production yields.The development of production facilities is focused on the substructure firstly to ensure the reliability of the building that will stand on it. The method of construction is carried out by erecting the foundation onshore and offshore by a specialist contractor which appointed by the employer. The issues of safety risks that will arise became the main attention of employers and the contractor.The study aims to find out how much the safety risk of a factory construction project which includes of foundation at production facilities and factories which is carried out onshore and offshore by one of the specialist contractors in Indonesia. The risk management method starts with the identification, analysis, response and review of risks. Identification is carried out by documentation reviews and checklist analysis techniques on similar projects in the past on risk variables affecting the safety aspects that is carried out between employers and the contractor.The results of the analysis show that the potential danger variable of falling/slipping/rolling both tools/workers on the piling work at sea is the highest risk of danger followed by falling into the sea on finishing work as the next biggest potential hazard in a factory construction project in South Kalimantan.The mitigation efforts which is carried out are adjusted to the potential hazard variables, including paying serious attention to the cleanliness aspects of the project site as well as strict supervision the use of PPE by the personnel. Keywords: project safety risk management AbstrakPeningkatan produksi berdasar atas analisis yang matang menjadi hal yang mutlak dilakukan oleh Perusahaan yang ingin meningkatkan pendapatan sekaligus memantapkan posisi di era persaingan yang ketat. Sebagai salah satu perusahaan produsen minyak kelapa sawit terbesar di Indonesia, Grup Sinar Mas memiliki rencana bisnis pengembangan fasilitas produksi di Desa Tarjun, Kalimantan Selatan disamping pembukaan lahan baru kebun kelapa sawit dalam rangka meningkatkan hasil produksi.Proses pengembangan fasilitas produksi difokuskan pada pekerjaan struktur bawah lebih dahulu untuk menjamin kehandalan bangunan yang akan berdiri diatasnya. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan dengan pemancangan pondasi di darat dan di laut oleh penyedia jasa spesialis yang ditunjuk oleh pemberi kerja. Isu risiko keselamatan yang akan muncul mendapat perhatian utama dari pemberi kerja dan penyedia jasa.Analisis bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar risiko keselamatan proyek konstruksi pabrik yang meliputi pekerjaan pemancangan pondasi pada fasilitas produksi dan pabrik yang dilakukan di darat dan laut oleh salah satu kontraktor spesialis di Indonesia. Metode pengelolaan risiko dimulai dengan identifikasi, analisis, respon, dan tinjauan risiko. Identifikasi dilakukan dengan peninjauan dokumen dan teknik analisis daftar periksa pada proyek sejenis di masa lampau terhadap variabel risiko berpengaruh pada aspek keselamatan (safety) serta dilakukan bersama antara pemberi kerja dan penyedia jasa spesialis.Hasil analisis menunjukkan variabel bahaya potensial jatuh terperosot/tergelincir/tergulir baik alat/pekerja pada pekerjaan pemancangan di laut menjadi risiko bahaya paling tinggi yang diikuti dengan terjerumus ke laut pada pekerjaan finishing sebagai bahaya potensial terbesar berikutnya pada proyek konstruksi pabrik di Kalimantan Selatan.Upaya mitigasi yang dilakukan disesuaikan dengan variabel bahaya potensial terjadi antara lain memberi perhatian yang serius terhadap aspek kebersihan lokasi proyek serta pengawasan yang ketat pada penggunaan Alat Pelindung Diri oleh personil yang bekerja.
