<![CDATA[Modern humans place too much emphasis on the outer side that they are trapped in a materialist and hedonist lifestyle. As a result, modern humans experience drought in the spirituality side. Modern humans are prone to stress in the face of increasingly severe life pressures, even to the stage of depression. Depression that is not treated properly causes psychiatric disorders or suicidal behavior. The high number of suicidal behavior in recent years shows the low value of modern human spirituality. Spiritual studies have been carried out by scientists in the field of psychology. In psychology, spirituality and religion have different dimensions. One can have a high spiritual value without having to be religious. One of the human activities that has spiritual potential is art. This research was conducted to determine the effect of art activities in the spiritual development of humans. This study uses qualitative methods with triangulation techniques. The results of this study indicate that visual arts have spiritual potential, so they can be used as a means to develop the spiritual side of humans.]]>
