<![CDATA[Tujuan studi ini untuk menganalisa perlindungan hukum atas potret artis yang digunakan sebagai wallpaper berdasarkan Undang-Undang Nomor 28 Tahun 2014 tentang Hak Cipta serta perlindungan hukum atas potret yang dialih wujudkan menjadi gambar wallpaper dengan penambahan teks dan perubahan komposisi warna. Penulisan karya ilmiah ini menggunakan jenis penelitian normatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan peraturan perundang-undangan dan pendekatan konsep. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa gambar wallpaper yang menggunakan potret artis dapat dilindungi dalam rezim hak cipta dan pembuatan serta penyebarluasan gambar wallpaper tersebut dianggap tidak melanggar hak cipta selama Pencipta atau Pemegang Hak Cipta menyatakan tidak keberatan atas pembuatan dan penyebarluasan tersebut. Kata Kunci: Perlindungan Hukum, Hak Cipta, Potret ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to analyze the legal protection of artist portraits used as wallpaper based on Law Number 28 of 2014 concerning Copyright and legal protection of portraits that are transformed into wallpaper images with the addition of text and changes in color composition. Writing this scientific paper uses a type of normative research using a statutory approach and a conceptual approach. The results of the study show that wallpaper images that use artist portraits can be protected under the copyright regime and the creation and distribution of these wallpaper images is considered not to violate copyright as long as the Creator or Copyright Holder expresses no objection to the creation and distribution.
