<![CDATA[The learning process that is interesting and of interest to students is important.Based on observations, it is known that there are problems in the History Subject in classX AKL 1 SMK Negeri 2 Magelang. The students are less interested in following the lessonsthat have an impact on the test results below the standard value. This classroom actionresearch aims to evaluate whether the application of group investigation methods canincrease students' interest in learning. This research was conducted in the History Subjectof class X AKL 1 SMK Negeri 2 Magelang in the 2018/2019 academic year. The researchwas carried out in two cycles, each of which was carried out through planning,implementing, observing, and reflecting procedures. Data collection was carried out usingobservation, interviews, tests, and document studies. The data were analyzed qualitativelyand quantitatively. The results of this study indicate that the Group Investigation methodcan increase students' interest in learning in History subjects. Students are also moreactively involved in the learning process.]]>
