<![CDATA[In operation of a mathematical number there is a lot to do with symbols, especially withregard to writing formulas. In combining several mathematical symbols that produce anillustration of a formula when typed using a computer (keyboard), difficulties arise meaningthat it is not as easy as when written by hand. This is related to setting the spacing andcapitalizing of letters / symbols and setting the position of these mathematical symbols.Microsoft office has provided that facility, namely Microsoft Word on the EQUATION ANDSYMBOL features. The purpose of providing this teaching material is to help high school /vocational high school students majoring in science or engineering majors based on the exactfield to make it easier to report assignments given at school. The method used face-to-faceand direct practice on each computer with the help of assistants. From the observations,students were able to complete at least 9 questions of the correct answers from the 11questions given. Thus, it can be concluded that this community service activity is quitesuccessful.]]>
