<![CDATA[Penggunaan material plastic oleh industry semakit meningkat. Peningkatan industry berbasis material plastic ini juga meningkatkan kuantitas sampah berbahan plastic di masyarakat. Pirolisis plastik adalah salah satu metode sederhana yang bisa mengurangi volume sampah plastic di masyarakat. Penelitian ini melakukan pengolahan sampah plastic menggunakan alat pirolisis. Sampah plastic yang diuji terdiri dari 2 jenis sampah plastic, yaitu PET dan HDPE. Berat sampah plastic yang diuji sebesar 1kg sampah PET dan HDPE. Penelitian ini akan membandingkan prestasi alat reactor pirolisis dengan menggunakan sampah PET dan HDPE. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan proses pembakaran sampah plastic dengan menggunakan reactor pirolisis menghasilkan minyak cair, baik menggunakan sampah plastic PET maupun sampah plastic HDPE. Sampah plastic PET menghasilkan minyak cair sebanyak 102 ml dengan 1 kg sampah. This plastic material-based industry also increases the quantity of plastic waste in the community. Plastic pyrolysis is one of the simple methods that can reduce the volume of plastic waste in society. This research is processing plastic waste using a pyrolysis tool. The plastic waste tested consisted of 2 types of plastic waste, namely PET and HDPE. The weight of plastic waste tested is 1 kg of PET and HDPE waste. This study will compare the performance of the pyrolysis reactor using PET and HDPE waste. The results of this study show that the process of burning plastic waste using a pyrolysis reactor produces liquid oil, either using PET plastic waste HDPE plastic waste.
