PENGARUH PENGALAMAN PRAKTIK KERJA INDUSTRI, MOTIVASI MEMASUKI DUNIA KERJA, DAN KEMAMPUAN SOFT SKILLS TERHADAP TINGKAT KESIAPAN KERJA SISWA KELAS XII KOMPETENSI KEAHLIAN AKUNTANSI DI SMK NEGERI 2 SEMARANG TAHUN AJARAN 2014/2015

Abstract

SMK merupakan pendidikan formal yang bertujuan untuk mempersiapkan tenaga kerja yang potensial tingkat menengah yang sesuai dengan kompetensi keahliannya. Berdasarkan hasil observasi awal dan wawancara menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kesiapan kerja siswa kelas XII SMK Negeri 2 Semarang masih kurang.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengalaman praktik kerja industri, motivasi memasuki dunia kerja, dan kemampuan soft skills terhadap tingkat kesiapan kerja siswa kelas XII kompetensi keahlian Akuntansi di SMK Negeri 2 Semarang tahun ajaran 2014/2015 secara parsial dan simultan. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XII Kompetensi Keahlian Akuntansi berjumlah 107 siswa dan teknik sampel yang digunakan adalah simple random sampling berjumlah 84 siswa. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode kuesioner (angket). Sedangkan metode analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) ada pengaruh pengalaman praktik kerja industri terhadap tingkat kesiapan kerja sebesar 18,40%, (2) ada pengaruh motivasi memasuki dunia kerja terhadap tingkat kesiapan kerja sebesar 10,43%, (3) ada pengaruh kemampuan soft skills terhadap tingkat kesiapan kerja sebesar 30,36%, dan (4) ada pengaruh antara pengalaman praktik kerja industri, motivasi memasuki dunia kerja dan kemampuan soft skills terhadap tingkat kesiapan kerja siswa kelas XII kompetensi keahlian Akuntansi di SMK Negeri 2 Semarang tahun ajaran 2014/2015 secara simultan sebesar 71,5%.Vocational High School are education departement that aims to prepare potential labor of middle-level in accordance with the skills competency. Based on the results of preliminary observations and interviews indicate that the level of job readiness of students in Vocational High School 2 Semarang is still lacking. This study aim to determine the effect of industrial work practice experience, motivation entering the work world, and soft skills ability to job readiness level of class XII students of Accounting skills competency in Vocational High School 2 Semarang academic year 2014/2015 partially and simultaneously.This study with a population of 107 students with the sample employed 84 students and respondents with simple random sampling. Data collection method is used the method of questionnaires. While the method of data analysis are using multiple regression analysis.The results of this study are: (1) the influence of industrial work practices experience to the students job readiness level is 18.40%, (2) the influence of motivation entering the work world to the student job readiness level is 10,43%, (3) the influence of soft skills ability to the students job readiness level is 30.36%, (4) simultaneously, the influence of industrial work practices experience, motivation entering the work world, soft skills ability to job readiness level of class XII students of Accounting skills competency in Vocational High School 2 Semarang academic year 2014/2015 is 71.5%.
