ABSTRACT : INFLUENCE OF TRAINING PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT SYSTEMS TO HEAD OF ROOM APPLICABLE APPLYING PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT SYSTEM IN INSTALLATION OF INGREDIENTS OF RSJD ATMA HUSADA MAHAKAM EAST KALIMANTAN PROVINCE The room chief plays a role in the performance appraisal system can run properly and appropriately to give satisfaction to the nurse. The understanding and implementation of performance assessment systems that does by the chief of room can be done through training. This study aims to identify the effect of performance appraisal system training on the ability of the head of the room to apply performance appraisal system. This study used Quasy Experiment and approached one group pre test-post test design. Samples numbered 9 chiefs of room. Measuring instrument used was a questionnaire by univariat and bivariat analysis. The results showed there was the Changes of capability in implementing the performance appraisal system before and after training (Ï=0.019). Based on this study suggested that the head of the room optimizes the implementation of the program performance appraisal system programmatically and improves the ability and skills of the head of the room in performing the assessment function.. Keywords: Performance Appraisal System,  Ability Kepala ruangan berperan dalam sistem penilaian kinerja dapat berjalan dengan baik dan tepat sehingga dapat memberikan kepuasan kepada perawat pelaksana.Pemahaman dan implementasi sistem penilaian kinerja yang dilakukan kepala ruangan dapat dilakukan melalui pelatihan.Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi pengaruh pelatihan sistem penilaian kinerja terhadap kemampuan kepala ruangan menerapkan sistem penilaian kinerja.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Quasi Experiment dan menggunakan pendekatanone group pretest -posttest design.Sampel berjumlah 9 orang kepala ruangan.Alat ukur yang digunakan kuesioner dengan analisis univariat dan bivariat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada perubahan kemampuan kepala ruangan dalam menerapkan sistem penilaian kinerja sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan (Ï=0,019). Berdasarkan penelitian ini disarankan agar kepala ruangan mengoptimalkan pelaksanaan sistem penilaian kinerja secara terprogram dan meningkatkan kemampuan dan keterampilan kepala ruangan dalam melaksanakan fungsi penilai. Kata kunci : Sistem Penilaian Kinerja, Kemampuan
