This study aims to describe (1) expressive speech acts in Bu Tejo Tilik's memes on twitter; (2) expressive speech acts in Bu Tejo Tilik's meme on twitter as teaching materials for junior high school students. The method used is descriptive-qualitative pragmatic approach to link language with the use of language such as words, phrases, or sentences and the elements that are outside them. The aim is to describe the data in a pragmatic way from the reader's point of view. The data in the form of Bu Tejo Tilik's memes on twitter were analyzed using pragmatic studies. The results showed that (1) expressive speech acts in Bu Tejo Tilik's memes on twitter, namely happy / congratulatory speeches, gratitude, criticizing, complaining, blaming, insinuating. (2) Expressive speech acts in Bu Tejo Tilik's memes on twitter have benefits as teaching materials for students because they can increase reading interest, motivate students to think critically and be used as reading material for creatively written material, such as poster material, slogans, and texts.
