This study aims to determine the effect of education and training on work performance of employees in the UPTD education office in Sape sub-district. This research uses associative research with a quantitative approach. The technique used to collect the sample (purposive sampling) by determining the sample as respondents were all civil servants (ANS) as many as 32 employees in the UPTD education office in Sape sub-district. Data collection techniques using observations, questionnaires (questionnaires) with a Likert scale. Technique Analysis using multiple linear regression then processed using SPSS version 20 for windos. The results showed that education did not have a significant effect on the work performance of employees in the UPTD education office in Sape sub-district. Training has a significant effect on employee work performance in the UPTD education office in Sape sub-district, the better the training, the higher the employee's job performance will be. Education and training have a significant effect on the work performance of employees in the UPTD education office in the Sape sub-district.
