Academic procrastination is the behavior of procrastinating or completing academic tasks that are influenced by several factors including stress, fatigue, task characteristics and irregular time. The purpose of this research is to know the relationship of academic burnout and academic procrastination in students of the third level STIKes Santa Elisabeth Medan. This type of research is analytic design with Cross sectional research design. The population in the research of all students of third level nurses at STIKes Santa Elisabeth Medan in the academic year 2019/2020 of 110 samples taken by total sampling. Data collection using questionnaire sheet. Analyze data using Chi Square test. The results obtained in this study describes the condition of low academic burnout 57 people (51, 8%), low academic procrastination 76 people (69, 1%). Chi Square test Result obtained p-value = 0.006 (p< 0.05). This indicates there is academic burnout relationship academic procrastination in students of the third level STIKes Santa Elisabeth Medan. It is expected that students can be aware of the academic burnout they experience to reduce procrastination or academic procrastination behavior towards their assignments.
