Abstract

Abstract The COVID-19 pandemic has changed society’s lifestyle. The plague has also tested the effectiveness of local wisdom to mitigate the adverse effect of the pandemic. One of the Javanese local wisdom that has been deeply rooted in the society, and inspired collective efforts to alleviate adversities is sayuk rukun saiyeg saeka praya sangkul sinangkul in bot repot. Sayuk rukun saeka praya. This paper describes how the implementation of the local wisdom has effectively alleviated each other’s burden due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
