<![CDATA[The quality of food consumption is identical to the diversity of food for supply the adequacy of nutrients and energy for mother and her infant. There is a strong relationship between malnutrition during pregnancy and low quality of food consumption. This study aims to analyze the determinant factors of the quality of food consumption during pregnancy. it was quantitative research with a cross-sectional design. This study was conducted on 82 pregnant women in the second and third trimesters in the sukowono sub-district. It was selected from the population using a stratified random sampling technique. Data were collected by questionnaire and 24-hour food recall observation checklist, then analyzed by logistic regression test. Knowledge (p=0,002) and food taboos (p=0,000) are identified as determinant factors from quality of food consumption while attitude (p=0,469) and health worker support (p=0,269) are not included to it. It concluded that good knowledge and not having food taboo have a positive impact on the selection of various types of food so that nutritional requirements are sufficient during pregnancy and can improve the health of both mother and child.]]>
