<![CDATA[The purpose of this research was to find out whether there was any influence of inquiry method toward the increasing in learning interest of history learning at the second grade of SMA N 1 Metro. The sample of this research was XI IPS 1. The Research method used is the experiment method with descriptive quantitative as data analysis technique. Based on the result of research, It could be concluded that there was significant influence of inquiry method toward increasing in learning interest of history learning at the second grade of SMA N 1 Metro in 2014/2015 academic year. The result was known based on increasing of average in learning interest from 27,45 to 33.09 after applying the experiment using the Inquiry Method.Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh Metode Inquiry terhadap peningkatan minat belajar sejarah siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Metro Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPS1. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan teknik analisis data deskriptif kuantitatif. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh metode inquiry terhadap peningkatan minat belajar sejarah siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Metro Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015. Hasil ini diketahui berdasarkan meningkatnya rata-rata minat belajar siswa dari 27,45 menjadi 33,09 setelah diterapkannya eksperimen menggunakan Metode Inquiry.Kata kunci: metode inquiry, minat belajar sejarah, pengaruh]]>
