PEMBELAJARAN INQUIRY DISCOVERY KESENIAN MADIHIN GUNA MENINGKATKAN KREATIFITAS BERMUSIK SISWA DI SEKOLAH

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan mengangkat kesenian madihin sebagai bahan apresiasi budaya serta melihat hasil belajar atas uji coba model pembelajaran kesenian madihin di sekolah SMP Negeri 1 Tembilahan Riau. Madihin adalah kesenian Banjar yang unsur utama pergelaranya mengandalkan vokal diiringi pukulan terbang, merupakan bagian budaya lokal daerah Tembilahan yang mayoritas masyarakatnya suku Banjar. Artikel ini mengeksplorasi penyusunan proses pembelajaran kesenian madihin dengan pendekatan inquiry discovery sehingga mampu meningkatkan kreativitas bermusik siswa di sekolah. Jamaris (dalam Sujiono & Sujiono. 2010) memaparkan karakteristik bentuk kreativitas dalam proses berpikir yaitu: kelancaran, kelenturan, keaslian, elaborasi, keuletan dan kesabaran. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dengan metode action research dan menggunakan teknik triangulasi dalam pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukan ada peningkatan hasil belajar, uji t menunjukan t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel, artinya uji coba model pembelajaran kesenian madihin dapat diterima dan layak diterapkan. Kata kunci: inquiry discovery, madihin, kreativitas.ABSTRACTThis article which aims to elevate madihin folk art as material of culture appreciation and to see the result of madihin folk art learning trials at school SMP Negeri 1 Tembilahan Riau. Madihin is Banjar folk art which its main of element in permormance rely on vocal and accompanied playing percussion (terbang), and has been part of the local cultural in Tembilahan Riau, which majority of its people is etnic Banjar. This article explores organizing the learning process of madihin art by inquiry discovery approach to increase students music creativity at school. Jamaris (in Sujiono & Sujiono. 2010) describes generally characteristics the forms of creativity are: fluency, flexibility, originality, elaboration, tenacity and patience. This is a qualitative research with action research methods, and using triangulation in data collection Results of research indicate there is improved learning outcomes, t test showst is greater than t table, its mean the trials of madihin art learning is acceptable and feasible.
