<![CDATA[Abstract: The aims of the research to know whether there is any significant effect of the using learning starts with a question model on students’ comprehension in reading announcement text to the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 AekNabaraBarumun. The research is conducting by using experimental method (pretest posttest one group design) with 34 students as the sample and they are taking by using random sampling technique from 54 students as population. Test and observation are using in collecting the data. Based on the data analysis, it can be find the The using of learning starts with a question model to the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 AekNabaraBarumun is categorized “good”, it can be seen from the mean score is 3.15, 2.The students’ comprehension in reading announcement text before and after the using learning starts with a question model to the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 AekNabaraBarumun is 68.39 categorized “enough” and 78.93 categorized “good”. Furthermore, based on inferential statistic by using ttest, the writer find ttest less than ttable(4.51 > 1.314).It means, “There is a significant effect of the using learning starts with a question model on students’ comprehension in reading announcement text to the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 AekNabaraBarumun.” Keywords:Learning Starts With A Question Model, Announcement and Reading.]]>
