Peningkatan Kemampuan Mengenal Konsep Bilangan melalui Kegiatan Bermain Konstruktif untuk Siswa TK

Abstract

Tujuan penelitia The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in the ability to recognize the concept of children's numbers through constructive play activities in TK Negeri Pembina children. The research subjects were students of group B4 which consisted of 20 students of 1 teacher of group B. This research was a classroom action research conducted qualitatively and quantitatively. Collecting data through observation and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed using qualitative analysis. The results of this study indicate that Constructive Playing Activities can improve the ability to recognize the concept of numbers. Based on observations, data obtained that in cycle I the teacher was not maximal in explaining the steps of constructive play activities too quickly so that children had difficulty understanding them, so the results showed that to improve the ability to recognize the concept of numbers had not reached the expected target. In Cycle II there was an increase in the ability to recognize the concept of numbers through constructive play activities which were in the very well developed category with an average percentage of 75% so that the ability to recognize number concepts through constructive play activities could be concluded with a success rate exceeding the minimum completeness criteria. Keywords: Number Concepts, Constructive Play and Early Childhood n ini untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan anak melalui kegiatan bermain konstruktif pada anak TK Negeri Pembina. Subyek penelitian adalah anak didik kelompok B4 yang terdiri atas 20 anak didik 1 orang guru kelompok B. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Kegiatan Bermain Konstruktif dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan. Berdasarkan Pengamatan diperoleh data bahwa pada siklus I guru belum maksimal dalam menjelaskan langkah-langkah kegiatan bermain konstruktif terlalu cepat sehingga anak sukar memahaminya,sehingga hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan belum mencapai target yang diharapkan. Pada Siklus II terjadi peningkatan kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan melalui melalui kegiatan bermain konstruktif berada pada kategori berkembang sangan baik dengan persentase rata-rata 75 % sehingga kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan melalui kegiatan bermain konstrruktif dapat disimpulkan dengan tingkat keberhasilan melebihi kriteria ketuntasan minimun.
