<![CDATA[Abstrak: Data menunjukkan menurunnya nilai UAN mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia belum dikaji secara mendalam, namun perlu disikapi yaitu mencari akar masalah dan solusi pemecahannya. Menurunnya nilai UAN mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia pada tahun 2010, diduga banyak faktor yang terkait. Salah satunya adalah ketidakterbacaan soal-soal UAN mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini untuk mencari salah satu alternatif penyelesaian yang terkait dengan menganalisis butirbutir soal UAN Bahasa Indonesia dengan tingkatan kognitif. Sampel adalah siswa tingkat SLTP di Surabaya berjumlah 100 siswa yang dibagi dua sekolah yaitu SMPN 13 (50 siswa) dan SMP Dharma Wanita (50 siswa). Hasil yang dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui jenis soal-soal yang sukar maupun yang tidak. Dengan begitu, guru dapat mengetahui secara jelas kriteria-kriteria soal yang sulit dan mudah bagi siswa dalam mempersiapkan UN khususnya mata belajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Abstract: Data showed that the decrease of National Final Examination (UAN) scores on Indonesian subjects had not been investigating in-depth, but it must be responded by finding out the main problem and the solution. It was expected that there were many factors involved in the decrease of (UAN) scores on Indonesian subjects in 2010. One of them is the unreadable questions of UAN especially on Indonesian subjects. This research was done to find out one of alternative solution which is related with analyzing the cognitive level in every item of the Indonesian subjects questions of UAN. The samples of this research are 100 junior high school students in Surabaya, which are divided in to two school that are SMPN 13 (50 students) and SMP Dharma Wanita (50 students). The result that was achieved in this research was to know the type of both, the easy questions and the difficult one. By doing that, teacher know the question criteria which are easy or difficult for their students in preparing the Un especially Indonesian subjects.]]>
