<![CDATA[In general, this study aims to determine the effect of modifying bokortasko aids on the service ability of badminton games for students of SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Islands. This research is an experimental study, namely Pre-Experimental Designs using control variables and the sample used is in the form of One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design, namely the control group and the sample used is in one group (class), in this design there is a pretest, before being given a pretest. treatment and post test, after being given treatment. This research was carried out at SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Tidore Islands with the research subjects of class VIII students. The total population is 38 people and the sample used is 20 people. Data collection techniques were carried out by conducting a pre-test (before treatment with modified Bokortasko tools) and post-test (after receiving treatment with modified Bokortasko tools). The data analysis technique was carried out by t-test to determine the effect between variables. Based on the results of data analysis using the t-test at a significance level of 0.05, this study can be concluded that there is an effect of the application of modification of the Bokortasko assistive device on the results of the service ability of badminton games in class VIII students of SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Tidore Islands, namely t-count = 3.541 > t-table =1,729]]>
