<![CDATA[This study examines the form, function and meaning of the Tawur Labuh Gentuh Ceremony in Taman Mayura, Mataram City. The reasons for choosing this location are as follows: 1) the Tawur Labuh Gentuh ceremony was held for the first time at Taman Mayura; 2) based on initial observations of Hindus in Mataram, not many people know about the implementation process and the meaning of the Tawur Labuh Genuh ceremony so that this ritual needs to be studied and socialized so that Hindus in Mataram City are more confident in carrying it out; 3) Rarely do counseling, dharma wacana or dharma tula to provide understanding to Hindus about the tawur labuh genuh ceremony. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative using communicative action theory, symbolic interactionism theory and communication semiotic theory. In general, this study aims to increase scientific insight about the tawur labuh gentuh ceremony carried out by Hindus in Mataram City.
