Abstract

Globally, English is applied as mother tongue, second, or foreign languages so as to do communication in many multilingual countries. Its use also handles the challenge of transmitting messages containing in Al-Qur’an and Hadith, two guidance sources of Muslims. Further, the Muslims (Muhammadans) around the world need this international language to deepen all about Islam dealing with its references that mostly written in Arabic. Nowadays many of them have been made in English to facilitate students who learn Islamic studies at schools or universities. The purpose of people, especially students in learning Islam is to be a good Muslim. Principally, to be a good one, a man has already had eternal guidances, the Qur’an and Hadith. Lillahi ta’ala (sincerity) is the key when he/she does the rules of Islam. No body could measure the level of his/her faith and piety. The Prophet Muhammad Salallahu ‘Alahi Wasallam is the only perfect creature before Allah Subhanahu Wata ‘Ala measures the level of his faith and piety. Key Words: English, bridge, Islamic studies
