This study aims to describe the values of Islamic education in the Tahlilan tradition as a form of social harmony in the Sudimoro Megaluh Jombang community. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collection methods of observation and documentation. The data analysis is using content analysis. The results showed that the values of Islamic education contained in the Tahlilan tradition were to get ridlo from Allah SWT. According to the majority of the villagers, Sudimoro stated that giving a meal is an alms recommended by Islam whose reward is given to people who have died and as ikramud dla`if. In a sociological context, this tahlilan ritual is a tool to strengthen social solidarity, meaning a tool to strengthen the balance of the community in Sudimoro village, namely creating a socio-harmonious situation, tolerance among participants, and taking turns helping each other to give blessings (prayer) which will be addressed to families who are in need. already dead.
