KOMPARASI HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA YANG DIAJAR MELALUI MODEL KOOPERATIF TIPE THINK PAIR SHARE DENGAN TIPE TEAM GAMES TOURNAMENT PADA KELAS IX SMP MUHAMMADIYAH 12 MAKASSAR

Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian quasi experiment yang melibatkan dua kelas sebagai kelas eksperiment dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan hasil belajar belajar matematika yang diajar Melalui Model Kooperatif Tipe TPS dengan Tipe TGT Pada Siswa Kelas IX SMP Muhammadiyah 12 Makassar tahun ajaran 2019/2020. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah nonequivalent control grup design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas IX SMP Muhammadiyah 12 Makassar yang terdiri dari dua kelas antara lain kelas IXa sebanyak 26 orang sebagai kelas eksperimen I untuk diterapkan model kooperatif tipe TPS dan kelas IXb sebanyak 26 orang sebagai kelas eksperimen II untuk diterapkan model kooperatif tipe TGT. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Rata-rata hasil belajar siswa sebelum menggunakan tipe TPS 34,46. Berada pada kategori sangat rendah dengan persentase 62%, sedangkan rata-rata hasil belajar setelah penerapan tipe TPS 84,69 berada pada kategori tinggi dengan persentase 50%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model tipe TPS dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. 2) Rata-rata hasil belajar siswa sebelum menggunakan tipe TGT 30,46. Berada pada kategori sangat rendah dengan persentase 88%, sedangkan rata-rata hasil belajar setelah penerapan tipe TGT 79,12 berada pada kategori tinggi dengan persentase 81%. Dari hasil analisis inferensial diperoleh p = 0,007 α = 0,05 jadi hipotesis penelitian yang menyatakan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar matematika siswa yang pembelajarannya melalui tipe TPS dengan tipe TGT pada kelas IX SMP Muhammadiyah 12 Makassar di terima.This type of research is a quasi-experimental study involving two classes as an experimental class with the aim to find out the comparison of mathematics learning outcomes taught through the TPS Type Cooperative Model with the TGT Type in Class IX Students of SMP Muhammadiyah 12 Makassar in the academic year 2019/2020. The research design used was nonequivalent control group design. The sample in this study was grade IX students of Makassar Muhammadiyah 12 Junior High School which consisted of two classes, including class IXa of 26 people as experimental class I to apply the cooperative type TPS type and class IXb as many as 26 people as experimental class II to apply the TGT type cooperative model . Descriptive analysis results show that: 1) The average student learning outcomes before using the TPS type 34.46. Being in the very low category with a percentage of 62%, while the average learning outcomes after applying the 84.69 TPS type is in the high category with a percentage of 50%. This shows that learning by using the TPS type model can improve student learning outcomes. 2) The average student learning outcomes before using the TGT type 30.46. It is in the very low category with a percentage of 88%, while the average learning outcomes after applying the TGT type 79.12 is in the high category with a percentage of 81%. From the results of inferential analysis p = 0.007 α = 0.05 so the research hypothesis which states that there is a significant difference between the results of students learning mathematics through TPS type and TGT type in class IX SMP Muhammadiyah 12 Makassar is accepted
