Abstract

The problem in this research was how the implementation learning outcomes of dance sigeh pengunten using demonstration in extracurricular activities of Junior High School at eighth grade of SMPN 02 Merbau Mataram. The theory used were demonstrations, lessons, sigeh pengunten dance. This type of research was qualitative descriptive. The source of the data obtained in this study were dance teacher and 7 girls. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. The procedures were using demonstration method; first formulate the goals to be achieved, a second set of students position, third teachers demonstrate motion, the fourth gives the opportunity to the students to practice, the fifth evaluation. The assessment was provided in four aspects: mechanical motion, memory, accompaniment accuracy, and expression. Learning outcomes sigeh pengunten dance could be seen that the student who got good criteria once numbered 6 female students (85.8%) and 1 student gets enough criteria was (14.3%).Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana penerapan dan hasil pembelajaran tari sigeh pengunten menggunakan metode demonstrasi pada kegiatan ekstrakulikuler kelas VIII SMP Negeri 02 Merbau Mataram. Teori yang digunakan yaitu demonstrasi, pembelajaran, tari sigeh pengunten. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah guru tari dan 7 siswi. Teknik pengumpulandata yang digunakan yaituobservasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Prosedur penggunaan metode demonstrasi, pertamamerumuskan tujuan yang harus dicapai,kedua mengatur posisi siswa,ketiga guru mendemonstrasikan gerak, keempat memberikan kesempatan kepada siswi berlatih,kelima evaluasi. Penilaian diberikan melalui empat aspek yaitu teknik gerak, hafalan, ketepatan iringan, dan ekspresi. Hasil pembelajaran tari sigeh pengunten dapat diketahui bahwa siswi yang mendapat kriteria baik sekali berjumlah 6 siswi (85.8%) dan 1 siswi mendapat kriteria cukup berjumlah (14,3%).Kata kunci: demonstrasi, pembelajaran, tari sigeh pengunten.
