PEMBELAJARAN TARI PIRING DUA BELAS MENGGUNAKAN METODE DEMONSTRASI DI KELAS X

Abstract

This research aimed to describe the process and the product of learning piring dua belas dance using demonstration method. The design used in this research was qualitative descriptive. The data sources were the teacher and the students. The data collecting technique in this research were observation, interview, and documentation. The steps used in the demonstration method were preparation, opening, implementation, closing. The research result indicates that there were 21 students who are able to dance well since these students only made 1-3 wrong movements. It is because the students were lack of confident. On the other hand, there were 15 students are not able to dance well since these students made more than 3 mistakes. It is because the students did not pay attention to the teacher during learning process in the class. So, the students could not memorize the movement which makes the students were not confident when they practice.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses dan hasil pembelajaran tari piring dua belas menggunakan metode demonstrasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa. Teknik yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Langkah-langkah yang digunakan dalam metode demonstrasi meliputi persiapan, pembukaan, pelaksanaan, dan langkah mengakhiri. Hasil pembelajaran menunjukkan bahwa 21 siswa dinyatakan sudah mampu menari dengan baik kerena siswa tersebut melakukan kesalahan 1-3 gerakan. Hal tersebut karena siswa kurang percaya diri. Disamping itu, 15 siswa dinyatakan tidak mampu menari dengan baik karena siswa tersebut melakukan kesalahan lebih dari 3 kali. Hal tersebut karena siswa tidak memperhatikan guru selama proses pembelajaran sehingga siswa tidak dapat menghafal gerakan yang menyebabkan rasa tidak percaya diri ketika tes praktik.Kata kunci : metode demonstrasi, pembelajaran, tari piring dua belas.
