Abstract

Abstrak Pandemi COVID-19 mempengaruhi semua sektor, yang bisa berdampak pada kinerja pegawai. Untuk mencapai kinerja yang diharapkan ditengah situasi pandemi COVID-19, pegawai perlu diberikan motivasi diantaranya merancang skema pemberian kompensasi menyesuaikan dengan pola kerja WFO dan WFH serta membuat lingkungan kerja yang nyaman dan kondusif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompensasi dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai KPU Kota Makassar. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah non probability sampling. Jenis data penelitian menggunakan data kuantitatif, sedangkan sumber data adalah data primer yang berasal dari 31 responden. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompensasi tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, dan lingkungan kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa manajemen kompensasi perlu dioptimalkan agar evaluasi kinerja pegawai yang terkait dengan pemberian kompensasi jelas dan terukur. Kata Kunci: Kompensasi, Lingkungan Kerja, Kinerja Abstract The COVID-19 pandemic affects all sectors that can have an impact on employee performance. To achieve the expected performance in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic situation, employees need to be motivated, including designing compensation schemes according to WFO and WFH work patterns as well as creating a comfortable and conducive work environment. This study aims to determine the effect of compensation and work environment on the performance of Makassar City KPU employees. The sampling technique is non-probability sampling. This type of research data uses quantitative data, while the data source is primary data originating from 31 respondents. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that compensation had no significant effect on employee performance, and the work environment had a significant effect on employee performance. This shows that compensation management needs to be optimized so that employee performance evaluations related to compensation are clear and measurable.
