MOTIVASI UNTUK MELAKUKAN PEMERIKSAAN PAYUDARA SENDIRI (SADARI) SEBELUM DAN SESUDAH PENDIDIKAN KESEHATAN TENTANG KANKER PAYUDARA PADA WANITA USIA SUBUR

ABSTRACTBackground: breast cancer is a cancer that often occurs in women and BSE attempt to do for the early detection of breast cancer. Objective: to determine differences in motivation to perform breast self-examination (BSE) before and after health education about breast cancer in fertile women in the village Sukolilo district Pati Methods: The type of pre-experimental research design with pre-post test in one group. The population is 309 souls fertile women. Sample of 47 respondents. Test statistic by using wilcoxon test. Result: motivation to perform breast-self examination (BSE) before health education among women of fertile women are mostly in the category of lacking motivation, namely a total of 32 respondents (68,1%), whereas after a given health education mostly in the category of quite as many as 31 respondents (66,0%). Conclusions: there are differences in motivation to perform breast self-examination (BSE) before and after health education in fertile women Wuwur Pati Village.Keywords: motivation, Breast Cancer, Breast Self Examination (BSE) ABSTRAKLatar Belakang : kanker payudara merupakan kanker yang sering terjadi pada perempuandan SADARI merupakan upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk deteksi dini kanker payudara. Tujuan: Mengetahui perbedaan motivasi untuk melakukan pemeriksaan payudara sendiri (SADARI) sebelum dan sesudah pendidikan kesehatan tentang kanker payudara pada wanita usia subur di Desa Wuwur Kabupaten Pati. Metode : jenis penelitian Pra-Eksperimental dengan rancangan Pra-Post Test Dalam Satu Kelompok (One Group Pretest-Postest Design). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 309 jiwa wanita usia subur. Sample sebanyak 47 responden. Uji statistic dengan menggunakan uji wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian : motivasi untuk melakukan pemeriksaan payudara sendiri (SADARI) sebelum pendidikan kesehatan pada wanita usia subur sebagian besar dalam kategori motivasi kurang yaitu sebanyak 32 responden (68,1%), sedangkan setelah diberikan pendidikan kesehatan sebagian besar dalam kategori cukup yaitu sebanyak31 responden (66,0). Kesimpulan : ada perbedaan motivasi untuk melakukan pemeriksaan payudara sendiri (SADARI) sebelum dan sesudah pendidikan kesehatan pada wanita usia subur di Desa Wuwur RW 1 Kabupaten Pati. Kata kunci: motivasi, kanker payudara, pemeriksaan payudara sendiri,
