Penanggulangan Tindak Pidana Pencurian dengan Pemberatan

The purposes of this study are to find out the factors that cause the occurrence of a criminal act of theft with weights and to find out how the form of efforts to overcome the crime of theft by weighting in the Bungo Police Legal Area. The research method used is empirical juridical. The results of this study indicate that the factors that cause the occurrence of the crime of theft with weights in the Bungo Police Legal Area are as follows: Internal factors from outside, namely: Economic factors, The influence of friends, factors from within oneself, namely: The existence of evil intentions, opportunity or negligence victim. As well as countermeasures against the occurrence of criminal acts of theft with weights in the Bungo Police Legal Area in the form of preventive and repressive efforts. Preventive efforts are patrols at hours and areas that are considered prone to theft as well as socialization or legal counseling to village communities, and repressive efforts, namely by taking action in accordance with legal processes and mechanisms that apply to perpetrators of theft crime with weight in the Territory Bungo Police Law. ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian  ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang menjadi penyebab dari terjadinya suatu tindak pidana pencurian dengan pemberatan dan mengetahui bagaimana bentuk upaya dari penanggulangan  terhadap tindak pidana pencurian dengan pemberatan di Wilayah Hukum Polres Bungo. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah  yuridis empiris. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa faktor  yang menyebabkan terjadinya tindak pidana pencurian dengan pemberatan di Wilayah Hukum Polres Bungo adalah sebagai berikut: faktor Intern  dari luar, yaitu: Faktor ekonomi, Pengaruh teman, faktor dari dalam diri sendiri yaitu: Adanya niat jahat, kesempatan atau kelalaian korban. Serta upaya penanggulangan terhadap terjadinya tindak pidana pencurian dengan pemberatan di Wilayah Hukum Polres Bungo berupa upaya preventif dan represif. Upaya preventif yaitu patroli pada jam-jam dan daerah-daerah yang dianggap rawan pencurian serta melakukan sosialisasi atau penyuluhan hukum kepada masyarakat desa, dan upaya represif yaitu dengan melakukan penindakan sesuai dengan proses dan mekanisme hukum yang berlaku terhadap pelaku tindak pidana pencurian dengan pemberatan di Wilayah Hukum Polres Bungo.
