<![CDATA[Abstraksi: Perkembangan teknologi informasi menjadikan Sekolah Menengah Atas 2 Kudus memanfaatkannya sebagai sarana untuk menyampaikan informasi kepada masyarakat. Di Sekolah Menengah Atas 2 Kudus sistem pendaftaran siswa baru sampai tahun 2012 penyajian Infromasi dan tingkat pengolahan data masih menjadi suatu kendala karena masih menggunakan sistem konvensional. Perancangan sistem informasi penerimaan siswa baru sangat diperlukan demi efesiensi dan efektifitas proses penerimaan siswa baru, Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan observasi mendatangi langsung di SMA 2 Kudus. Dengan adanya aplikasi sistem informasi penerimaan peserta didik baru, diharapkan mempermudah untuk proses pendaftaran dan pengolahan calon siswa baru di SMA 2 Kudus.
