<![CDATA[ABSTRAKSI: Multimedia merupakan salah satu cara yang tepat untuk mempermudah menyampaikan informasi dalam bentuk audio ataupun visual. Multimedia juga mampu menghasilkan sesuatu menjadi lebih hidup dan menarik, salah satu penerapan multimedia adalah untuk menghasilkan video profil. Sekolah Menengah Atas 2 Surakarta adalah salah satu instansi pemerintah dalam dunia pendidikan yang belum memiliki fasilitas profil untuk memberikan informasi kepada warga sekolah maupun masyarakat luas dan untuk dokumentasi sekolah. Adapun masalahnya adalah bagaimana membuat video profil yang menarik menggunakan komputer berbasis multimedia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah agar SMA 2 Surakarta memiliki video profil sekolah yang digunakan sebagai media informasi yang lebih effektif dan efisien dan untuk melengkapi dokumentasi SMA 2 Surakarta. Manfaat dari penelitian bagi penulis diharapkan dapat memperoleh pengetahuan tentang proses pembuatan video profil yang baik dan menarik, bagi sekolah sendiri digunakan untuk mempromosikan SMA 2 Surakarta dan dokumentasi sekolah. Metodologi penelitian yang di gunakan adalah Opservasi, Kepustakaan, Wawancara, Analisis, Perancangan company profile, Pengambilan Gambar, Capturing, Editing, dan Implementas.

The purpose of this study was In order for SMA 2 Surakarta has used video as a school profile media information more effectively and efficiently and to complete documentation of SMA 2 Surakarta. The benefits of the research for the author to gain knowledge about the process of making a good video profiles and attractive, the school itself used to promote High School 2 Surakarta and school documentation.
